If you buy into the ‘Hell Scam’, Satan has you right where he wants you: deceived by a doctrine of devils.
As for you, if you buy into the Great Hell Scam, Satan has already won your heart into believing that God is even more evil than Satan is! He’s got you right there in the palm of his hand where he wants you.
Satan portrays himself as this fun-loving, party-animal type and not really mean and cruel but just ornery, while God is portrayed to us by Satan as rash, unfeeling, fickle, capricious, sadistic, cruel to the extreme, vindictive, merciless and unrelenting.
Don’t let him deceive you like that. It’s a trick and a scam. This is a doctrine of devils. Notice 1 Timothy 4:1-2: ‘Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;’
Hell, as an ever-burning place of conscious torture is Satan’s idea, not God’s. Why give heed to it or believe it? It is not found in the Old Testament. It is none of the writings of the Apostle Paul, and when carefully examined it is not in the words of Jesus or any of the gospel writers.
It is an anti-biblical figment of man’s imagination. Pope John Paul II reportedly stated that the Catholic Church 'made it up'! It is improper to canonize imagination as scripture, regardless of who imagined it, even if it’s the Pope or Billy Graham. That does not make it scripture, and this Hell Scam is not scriptural. Period.
Don’t you think if it was God’s idea and invention that he would have had his servants write it into his scriptures? Wouldn't he have shared it with us, his children? Yes, of course he would. For he said he would do nothing unless he revealed it to his servants.
As it is written in Amos 3: 7 ‘Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.’ Why then, would our Great God, who is Lord and Master of Heaven and of Earth, create this Hell as a place of conscious eternal torture and not tell us in his own Bible?
Is it in God's nature to trick us or deceive us? No. But it is in Satan's. He lied to Eve in the garden, saying 'You shall not surely die.' He is the deceiver, not God.
We are not immortal souls living in a temporary body. But we are souls, as C. S. Lewis said. A soul is merely a person. Plato taught Satan's lie, that we are immortals trapped in a mortal coil. That is a lie. The soul that sins shall die.
As God told us through his prophet in Ezekiel 18:20: 'The soul (person) who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent's sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child's sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness.'
Let's trust in God and what he says, instead of fearing man.
